So we've all run into a giant flesh eating spider at least a few times in our lives. And to really capture that arachnid atmosphere, I wanted to create a whole slew of web effects in various shapes and forms to accommodate all sorts of homebrewed abilities. But I didn't want to go with the classic stringy, dreamcatcher web design we're all familiar with. Instead, I wanted to create something much more stylized, with a lot more substance and visual weight. Turns out creating them purely from my imagination was a lot harder and more time consuming than I expected lol. 😅 But in the end, I managed to create something I'm really happy with! A style that commands a lot more attention while still being recognizable as webs.In this update, you'll find web effects for circle, square, and cone AoEs, along with token bindings, a web shot projectile, and a latch projectile perfect for web slinging and web yanking enemies around. And to top it all off, there are a handful animated environmental webs to help adorn your battlemaps.You can check out all the new effects this update in the ASSET PREVIEWER!
