Hello fairies! 🦢

Most of you will probably already have seen the first character design sheet on my Instagram, but I realized I never shared the second one before! These two pieces were the first Embers to Inferno art EVER 🥺

Before I started this huge project I needed to find a way to simplify my art a lot, rendering just does not work for a comic because it takes so long. So before I began thumbnailing episode 1 I decided to experiment a bit with how I wanted the art style to look. I eventually ended up with this style! I really loved how simple it was while still looking like my art style. It's also a lot of fun to draw different outfits on these and have a reference ready when needed. Like how many stripes and hearts Bloom has on her shirt... 💀 Didn't know getting these right every time would take so long 😭

I posted the first design sheet pretending it was just a cute little thing I did not with the intent of starting a webtoon haha, I still can't believe I was able to keep it a secret for an entire year 😂

I just started working on new outfits for Bloom and Valtor and when I tell you they slay 😩 New outfits will start appearing from Episode 13 where we start to diverge from canon a little! I know, sounds like such a long time away 🙈 But you will all of course see the outfits much sooner heheh!
