Thumbnails & Script | Episode 14 (Patreon)

I really think you'll enjoy the script from this episode so please give it a read🥹 And since it's now been a couple of weeks since episode 14 was released I think it'll make it feel a bit more exciting and fresh. It has some little extras that didn't make it in the webtoon too!

Okay now for the thumbnails, I know there are pages with a lot of things missing here but I also genuinely have no idea where it all went lol. I guess I accidentally deleted some sketches 😭 As for the parts where there's just a face missing, that's because I reused a lot of faces from previous episodes and just sketched another body under it to save time! In my defence, this entire episode had me fighting for my life haha.

I was so ambitious and should have split this into two parts, but I didn't want to admit defeat! I recently found out Clip Studio Paint also tracks your time and I just had to know how long I spent on this...

128 hours. This one episode took me 128 hours 😭That's 4 weeks of a 9-5 job lol. So if you're still wondering why episodes take me so long to post this is why. On top of that I also have other work to do so I tend to only have time to work on the Webtoon in the evenings and on my weekends :') Yes, my weekends are just working on the webtoon for 9 hours straight each day😂

Luckily I learned my lesson and once an episode goes over a certain amount of pages I split it, this ensures high quality and my sanity 😂 It does hurt my soul a little because I would love to be able to give long episodes like this more often, but sadly it just takes me too long without any help :( And I can feel myself cutting corners and skipping things and I hate when that happens! I really want the quality to remain high and make every episode the best I can!

A good example is the episode I'm currently working on, I wanted to get everything in one big episode but I wasn't even halfway and I had already reached 11 pages. I knew I had to make the tough decision here and split it. But I promise it's all for a good cause! To bring you an actual decent story with nice art and not some fast-paced bullshit that a lot of media is today. I have a responsibility to give you all the best first Valtor x Bloom webtoon after all 😆
