Embers to Inferno | Episode 17 Part 2 (Patreon)

In part 2 we move to Bloom's POV! After seeing Valtor deal with the aftermath of episode 16, I thought it would be only right to see how Bloom is faring. Needless to say, she's doing even worse😆I am so obsessed with seeing these two struggle with their feelings for each other, it truly brings me life 😌 The yearning is always the best part for me in enemies to lovers!

Spoilers ahead! 

I thought it'd be so fun to bring back Bloom's artistic side, they really neglected this in the show. After episode 1 it was almost never brought up again, even though I would have loved to see more of Bloom's artistic side! I think it adds such a wonderful layer to her personality. I always thought that when things quieted down (for once no classes or evil to fight haha) she would be sketching in the common room enjoying the company of the other Winx. I'm really happy I was able to include this in the webtoon in this way! I hope to have her drawing more often 🥰

Now on to what- or rather who- she is drawing 😆Poor girl's mind is completely filled with thoughts of Valtor 😌I couldn't resist having her make an ugly version out of pure spite haha! While sketching my own version of 'ugly Valtor' a thought suddenly came to me: "Why does he kinda look like handsome Squidward?" So I just went with that and that's how that panel was born wahaha 😂TELL ME I'M WRONG, I DARE YOU!! It also fits perfectly as a fun subtle reference to another Nickelodeon show we all grew up with.

Then on to the Winx! I gave some of them new outfits and some are wearing things from the show! Musa is actually wearing an outfit she wore in the 'Quest for the Codex' game. I saw it while doing some research and fell in love with it! Especially with her long hair, it looks so nice 🥹

And we end the episode with Bloom vowing to not let it happen ever again!! She is determined to not let herself be swayed by Valtor's charm 😤 (place your bets right now on how long she'll be able to keep that up lol)
