Someone special might be making an appearance soon 👀

This is how I imagine Daphne looked when she was a human, back when she was living in the castle of Domino as the princess.

I wanted it to look a bit more regal but still similar to her nymph form! Gold just suits her so much I couldn't bring myself to give her another colour dress.

It's still a simple sketch here, though; I did end up making some small changes later on, mainly the huge sleeves haha. It was too much of a pain to draw them. 😭

Personally I never liked how Winx handled her character; she was turned from such an ethereal being to a clumsy girl who looked more like the little sister than Bloom. And of course, bringing her back to life was… a choice, haha. I adore Daphne, but it took away so much from her tragic character. Her sacrificing herself to save her little sister suddenly had way less meaning by making her "cursed" rather than dead.
