Embers to Inferno | Episode 21 (Patreon)

Episode 21 is truly one of those episodes that makes me giggle and squeal like a teenage girl bwahaha. After all those lore-heavy and dramatic episodes, I thought we might need something cute 🤭

A little heads-up for next month's episode: Episode 22 is a little shorter than usual because when I was working on it, I was in the middle of my wrist issues, haha 🥹

Luckily all pain is mostly gone by now, yay!! I just have one very weak wrist now, lol. But I can live with that! I'm also working on getting a more ergonomic setup for my iPad, so stay tuned for that, as I plan to share it once everything is here! Would you guys be interested in a detailed breakdown of my drawing setup or nah? 🤔

Despite episode 22 being a bit shorter, it is still incredibly fun! I think my Trix fans will thoroughly enjoy it, heheh. 👀

Alright, on to the episode discussion!

Spoilers ahead:

It was high time for Kiko to make an appearance if you ask me! The little dude was so neglected once all the pixies and fairy animals started showing up, so I want to give him the attention he deserves as Bloom's no. 1 supporter. 😤 This lil dude has been through it with her since the very beginning; put some respect on his name, Rainbow!

I thought it would be absolutely adorable if he snuck out with her; he has been watching Bloom leave so many times now, and his curiosity is getting the better of him! So our little detective is going to investigate where his Bloom has been off to so late at night.

Seemed like a good time to show the barrier buster again as well. I remember the girls using it to sneak out of Alfea in season 3 to fight Valtor, so I wanted to remind everyone that this is how Bloom sneaks out all the time. 😆 Can't forget a cute bag to put it in either, so I went with a Juicy Couture-inspired tote. I hope you can all appreciate my genius brand name, "Magix Couture" 😂 Although, I should have probably named it "Magixia" now with the reboot and all lmaoooo. (Sorry for the little side rant on how horrible Magixia sounds; it's giving heartburnmedication. It's giving brand of period pads.)

After Daphne's visit, Bloom can't seem to keep her sister's words out of her mind. Slowly she is noticing Valtor more and more. How soft his lips look, how big his hands are; how would those hands feel if they were to... y'all can fill the rest in, I'm sure hahahahaha.

And now she is even more confused, because even Kiko likes him! Why are she and her rabbit feeling so comfortable around him? Why is she telling him silly stories about her first year at Alfea, and why is he actually interested and listening to her?? Everything is becoming more and more complicated by the day.

Kiko is an unbothered king and has already won over Valtor's heart and is enjoying the cuddles. If only Bloom was that smart too. 😔

The idea for Kiko liking Valtor comes from the fact that he has a piece of the dragon flame! Kiko has been with Bloom all his life, and she has had the dragon flame with her ever since. I'm guessing that Valtor has a similar sort of aura thanks to the piece inside him. So Kiko immediately feels comfortable around him, since he reminds him of his favourite person in the world. 🥹

I know, I know, it's all a bit fluffy and sappy, but we deserve it every once in a while, don't we? 😂 For once no drama, no heavy lore drop, no secrets, just two people (and a bunny) enjoying each other's company. 🥹
