Embers to Inferno | Episode 22 (Patreon)

A small fun episode before everything goes down in the season finale! Both episodes 23 and 24 could be considered as the finale, so there will be a lot happening in a short time 🥹

But before that, we visit our favourite witches once again! I know everyone loves them, so I try to get them in the story every once in a while 🥰

It also felt like a good moment to see what they're up to when Valtor is, ahem, busy with Bloom, heheh. Many of you probably have questions as to why they allow all this to happen, so I thought it'd be nice to give those questions an answer!

I know that because I release these episodes only once per month, it might feel like so much has happened and so much time has passed, but between training sessions not that much time was skipped! So you can assume this whole training plan hasn't been going on for months. More like a couple of weeks, maybe a month or two at most! Still way longer than Icy had thought it would take.

Some of you were already hoping for Pepe to make an appearance, so I couldn't disappoint you now, could I? 😂

I thought it was absolutely essential to show how well taken care of our little duck friend is 😌 After all, poor guy just disappeared after season 1! So all this time he's been with his 'mommy'. 😆

Icy is starting to get a little suspicious about the whole "killing plan". Which is honestly very fair if you ask me 😂 Who knew there could be such an elaborate killing plan that required this much alone time 🤔

Darcy and Stormy are just happy to live in a nice room and live life for the moment. They have to be tired after all that happened the past seasons, like, come on 😭 So while they may also start asking questions someday, for now they're content to enjoy the little bit of peace they have. I think a lot of people underestimated how much happened in season 2 and how much they were running all over the Magical Dimension for Darkar 😅

Speaking of the room, isn't it super fun?! I used different 3D models and created my own Trix room, haha. They always used to share a room back when they were students in Cloud Tower, so I thought it might be cute to refer back to that time but now decorated with a bit more style 😆

The 3D model is a Clip Studio Paint asset this time, so it was completely empty and didn't have colour; this way I could customise the room more. The matching bedding to their colour palettes was a must if you ask me, haha. For the rest of the room I looked at Valtor's room and library; I wanted them to be a bit similar. I even took the rug used in the library and put the same one here! It gives a subtle hint that Valtor was the one who designed it for them 🤭

If you ask him though, he'll probably tell you he gave them a room so they would leave him alone 😂
