For a moment, we go back.

Bloom leads us as the narrator, to a time before her life was changed forever. Even more so than that faithful day when she saw a fairy-bathed in golden sunlight-battling a monster in the park of her hometown, Gardenia.

We return to Bloom's second year at Alfea.

To a time when her eyes were still filled with wonder.When the Magical Dimension still felt warm and full of promise.Before she was caught in the web of the Shadow Phoenix.

The start of Bloom’s second year was marked by the sudden arrival of a new professor, mysterious, intelligent, and charming.

Professor Avalon.

A new figure in Bloom's magical life. A handsome, kind, and caring professor who always seemed to know exactly what to say. Someone who was always there when Bloom needed guidance… or comfort.

Someone she could rely on.

Or... could she really?

Why did this new professor spend so much time with her?Why did his attention linger on Bloom, longer than it ever did on the other students at Alfea?

Did he think she was special?

More deserving of his time.More worthy of his care.

He made her feel special. He made her feel safe.

And so, she defended him. Again and again.There was never any doubt in her mind that Professor Avalon was good—that he knew what was best for her.

The others were just jealous.Sky especially. Of course he wouldn’t understand.

And slowly…

Quietly…

Avalon earned Bloom’s complete trust.

By the time she realized something was wrong...
