Alright, as I mentioned before, here is the poll to help me decide the next universe that Harry and Daphne would travel to (EM). You guys helped a lot with your recommendations, and I'm sorry that I wasn't able to do them all.

There are some that I was just not confident enough to write a story in, and I will be doing my best trying to rectify this to give myself more options in the future. 40k and Warcraft are two universes that I really wish I could have done. There are others where I just couldn't come up with a story that I liked with them. Some had ideas that were a bit too short to make a full story, so I might create a bit of a mini-stories volume with them, if you guys are interested in something like that.

So, for each world, I included a bit of a short summary/synopsis of what to expect, so that it would help a bit with your choices. I made it so you could choose multiple stories, so feel free to pick whatever you like. I might even do a few of these stories in parallel, if one of these ideas just wouldn't leave my head.

Just in case, these story ideas below are not exactly iron-clad, and I have some doubts about some of them, so feel free to tell me if any of the stories don't particularly appeal to you. I'd love any feedback you could have, and any suggestions about any changes you'd like to see.

Anyway, let's get to the actual polls. Here are the story prospects that I've come up with so far, so pick which ones you'd like to see:

Star Wars

Anakin Skywalker opened his eyes in a strange jungle, strangely without the wreckage of the ship he had crashlanded in sight. Most disturbingly, Aayla and Ahsoka were nowhere to be found, something that he couldn't allow. Unfortunately, the only person around him was a strange green-eyed man whom the Force kept urging him to follow, and for now, Anakin would, if only because the man might lead him to his lost companions, even if he was pretty sure this 'Harry Potter' was hunting down some kind of Sith artefact.

The story takes place during the Clone War, mainly centred around Harry travelling around from planet to planet across the galaxy, interacting with stuff from Legends, and trying to figure out the Force. There may be a Time Travel component to send him to the times of the Old Republic later.

Witcher (Witcher 3)

Harry Potter doesn't know how he got to this world, but he wasn't exactly happy about it; any attempt at reaching out into the multiverse was met with a wall of great frost that even froze the void between worlds. There were the strange elves that appeared and tried to attack him whenever he tried to do it, hunting for some girl named Zireael, or something. Anyway, he was all for an adventure, but he'd rather get back home before his wife gets too mad at him.

Percy Jackson and the Olympians

Lou Ellen had done nothing but run from the monsters chasing her for the past few weeks, following instinct alone as she shaped the invisible Mist around her to hide. It had worked so far, but she did not know how long she could keep it up. Then she found a small house, completely shrouded in the Mist, so thick that she felt a strange sense of relief the closer she drew. She didn’t know why, but she walked up to the door and knocked. When she met the concerned green eyes of the man who answered, she had the unsettling feeling that the world could never be the same again.

Worm

Amy Dallon hated the rain. She hated a lot of things, but right now, as she stepped out of the hospital, the rain was climbing fast to the top of that list. She cursed her decision to buy Vicky’s birthday present today; otherwise, her beautiful, wonderful sister would’ve flown her home by now. The wind was getting worse, and there was no way she was crossing the boardwalk in this. So she ducked into a side street and spotted a small, dim shop with a worn sign reading 'The Pottery'. It looked dry enough. She stepped inside, figuring anything was better than the storm outside, unaware that her life would never be the same after that.

DC

Zatanna Zatara snuck away from her home, just as she did when her father's overprotectiveness was becoming too much. She didn't know why she decided to go to Gotham this time, but something about the city had always felt fascinating to her. At least, it had until she saw a man get robbed by a handful of the Joker's henchmen or whatever they called themselves in this city. She prepared to save him, just as a hero like her father would, only for them to all fall unconscious with a single spell. It was then that the realisation set in. There was a magician in Gotham, and a powerful one at that, and one that no one, not even her father, knew about. A small smile appeared on Zatanna's face; how interesting.

All, i choose all

Arthur Andersen

my first pick is star wars and my second is dc

Jeet Jeet

Lord of the Rings or Wheel if Time

Labhras Hernon

Might be a bit of a weird one, but it might be interesting to go into the Old Kingdom (series by Garth Nix). You've got two magic systems, one primarily defined by order (charter magic) and the other by chaos (free magic). I'm happy with my picks from the poll options though, so just write what you want to! Really enjoying the AWM

Jaws

I’ve never really read a proper Star Wars, Harry Potter fan fiction. Any that I’ve tried were either harem pieces or just garbage, so I’m really interested in how your take on it would go. That, and Star Wars has such rich lore, you could so much it that it whenever I tried it I got overwhelmed. Otherwise, I personally would go with the Worm or DC. Worm has been a little obsession of my for a while now and Any is one of my favourite characters so this really pecks my interest. Don’t really see Magic would fit into the setting, so I’m honestly curious how you would go about it. And as for DC, well it’s DC. I don’t know why Harry as a character would bother to get involved with the Justice League, but I can already tell that he going to give Batman a headache.

athass_prkr

That sounds interesting. I never heard of Old Kingdom before, so I'll try to check it out. Thanks for the recommendation :)

TyrantGod

I choose Star Wars, Witcher,DC

athass_prkr

Both of these were on the list of recommendations, but I have never really got around to reading Wheel of Time, something that I do regret. LOTR was a contender, but I couldn't come up with anything that I really liked with it, and if I'm going to do a LOTR fic, I'm going to do it right :). Sorry, I guess.

azav

Pity that Warhammer fantasy wasn’t an option

Jeet Jeet

Will wait for the next time then

Sir Gollum

I’m just curious, is the sequel trilogy gonna be canon?

athass_prkr

You're talking about SW, right? If so, then I'm not really planning on going near the sequels.

athass_prkr

Alright, it might sound weird, but I tried getting into Warhammer Fantasy a while back and couldn't find where to start. Do you have any recommendations or something like that? I feel a bit ignorant, I guess.

TyrantGod

Witcher 3 is a medieval era setting. Having a change of setting would be nice. Does he have memories from his past life of these worlds? No chance of dune? Can you do like a omake chapter with Harry popping in those worlds? If long story is not possible

Doubledoor

If you mean getting to know the world at all, I think you can go for one of the video games. Either good old total war warhammer (it helps with basic understanding of how the world is set up a lot, but not really with lore unless you sink enough hours in to genuinely learn the legendary lords' background and stuff) or stuff like Vermintide or chaosbane (heard good things haven't yet played it). If you prefer reading, the gotrek and felix novels are supposed to be pretty good, but I can't back that personally. Finally, Youtube videos and wikis. My personal favourite is: The Lands and Provinces of The Empire with Dr. Steffan Hoffman. A documentary style youtube video detailing the Empire's geography. But really, I recommend the total war warhammer games. 1 is best for plot relevance focusing on the best known races and areas (empire, chaos warriors, norsca, bretonnia, dwarves, orks, vampire counts etc.), 2 for the less well known races and parts of the world (high elves, drukari, lizardmen, nagash and co. etc.) and 3 for gameplay and further expansion (cathay, kislev, ogres, directly affiliated forces of the chaos gods etc.) of the roster. It is not just the best but the most common entry point to the fandom.

WireApe

You could get into the times of Sigmar when he's uniting the human tribes to face the Greenskins for some Empire building. Or you can focus on the disparate peoples of the Southern Border Princes, whose people are plagued by war, sickness and greenskins for an "hopeful uplift". Or hell maybe something original, like endless battles with outsiders/demons he finds a baby civ (dwarves) trying tl survive the onslaught and he introduces Runes to the dwarven Ancestors

Garri Sarkisov

All of them are interesting and full of potential for change. I would think that Star Wars has bigger potential of change and larger playground of possibilities and potential compared to to the rest of them.

Aditya Rohan Singh

Star wars has enough storyline to be considered a big enough. Percy Jackson woukd be an ideal second

athass_prkr

I am planning on a mini-stories volume in the future for smaller adventures/ worlds that they would be completely OP for :)

TyrantGod

I would choose Twilight, Vampire Diaries etc as well. They could troll the characters there. 😂 Make it comedic!

TyrantGod

For Star Wars or any of the other fic, will there be chosen one team up? Will we get a strong opponent for Harry? Who can actually challenge him? Like Darth Nihilus or Vitiate for example

Jose Gonzalez

Percy jackson would be cool cuz harry just has a way of pissing off gods haha and I'm sure he would help the demigod they dont have the best life's

Tim

Oout of curiosity, what about Chronos in book 1? Not to mention if Harry and Daphne start a family. Otherwise... Star Wars 110%.

athass_prkr

Nihilus and Vitiate could definitely challenge him. Despite his intelligence, Harry is pretty unused to the scale of things in Star Wars, and the presence of the Force changes things a lot.

athass_prkr

I'm a bit confused. Do you mean Kronos from PJO?

TyrantGod

I think he meant future Harry or the look alike from end of vol 1

athass_prkr

Oh, that makes sense. I kinda feel dumb now. Chronos is a bit of an overarching thing that I honestly still haven't decided on how to follow through with. I have a general plan, but I guess I'll need to do it differently. There was a plotline in Witcher that involved Gaunter O'Dimm that related to Chronos, but I suppose I could theoretically make it work in most other universes as well.

WColeman417

What about Doctor Who. Harry and Daphne meeting the doctor and Harry learning to manipulate Artron energy to travel through time after being in the TARDIS.

avatarjedi

i thought this harry was already a lord of space and time

WColeman417

It’s implied that Harry can bend, stretch, slow down, and speed up time he can’t actually time travel. That’s why he had to make the special time turner and why Kronos as to let the kids through in EM.

TyrantGod

Does Harry have knowledge of Star Wars movies?

Tim

Write however you want to write. Im just genuinely curious on how you planning to continue onwards. If it's a third volume, it's naturally the rule of Trilogies (which is why I thought of Chronos). A Dumbledoor return maybe. Or are you going on a modern erra Doctor Who route. Multiple stand-alone stories with a hint of an overarching plot (Big Bad Wolf, etc) and then end it with your final volume putting all those pieces together... eventually.

MFstories

Honestly I’d be here to read him traveling to all of them

athass_prkr

That's actually a pretty cool idea. I kinda dismissed it at first since Harry could wave away a lot of the Doctor's problems just by using magic, but I do remember reading somewhere that Rassillon removed all traces of irrationality from the universe, including magic. So, technically, Harry could be stuck and need to learn how ot manipulate Artron energy to get back home. Still, it will be tricky to make a long story out of it, so maybe it could be one of the potential mini-stories I'm planning...

athass_prkr

It will be a similar situation to the one in Planetos, so not really, but he could find out enough using divination.

TyrantGod

How strong would you scale Harry to be? Is he Doom Supreme or Franklin Richards level or any other metric you can use?

TyrantGod

I would like to see a crossover with The Irregular at Magic High School series. I know Harry would be OP there. But technomagic combo would be awesome. At least a one shot chapter?

athass_prkr

I actually never heard of that series. I'll have to check it out, but I don't see why not, especially for a one-shot

TyrantGod

There is anime, manga & light novels

omiguh

Honestly, the first season was light years better than anything else that story came up with. I read the LN until novel 13 or so and it honestly just kept getting worse. It peaked in volume 1 lol

omiguh

Would divination even work with the dark side clouding everything?

Jaws

Hey question, will Harry’s and Daphne’s daughter be involved in whatever world they enter next. Because I was just imagining Harry raising his child in Star Wars and the Jedi attempting to claim said child for their order. Oh the chaos that would happen would be delicious.

athass_prkr

There's nothing really set in stone, but I was thinking, at least for the start of the story, to keep it just with Harry. Tbh, I feel like I didn't do much with Daphne in AWM, and I wanted to avoid this, especially with their kid. If it had been DC, I would have likely included her. My crossover with DC's theme was Harry being an overprotective dad, destroying every potential threat around.

azav

Harry and Daphne's child has a lot potential for stories. Star Wars, as was already mentioned, Worm - better fitting into the setting due age.

HP-DG-AP-PN-RG-NR

DC, and Star Wars are the only interesting looking ones here. Might have liked to see a Marvel choice, but these work for the next one.
