Hey folks,

I'm working on the next video, which will be on inclusive fitness. Part of it will discuss the green beard thought experiment, so of course, I had to give the blobs beards.

even im no patron cause im broke as shit. i would like to share some ideas that could improve your content and maybe i can help you that way too... specialy the "in general" part could realy improve this kind of evolution simulation. for altruism: 1.maybe if someone got helped by someone it should be a possibility that the one that got helped turns into an altruistic person or maybe it just could increse the mutation chances for there offsprings. 2.another idea could be that the altruistics should look for a 3rd food to share it with others like reproducing is some main goal of genes so first after reaching this you are free to spread the love of altruism. i mean there are some ways for sure to make a altruism gene work in some simulation like this but i dont think there is a real gene for it cause it would always fail to compete against selfishness as long it wouldnt be a non-risk enviroment. in general: there is another thing your speciman are asexual but most life isnt. maybe you could tweak it so that everyone has always 2 genes (but only one active) and has to gather 2 food then find someone else with 2 food and both give one gene to there offspring with a 50/50 chance of which is the active one. with this more realistic approach you would get some different results i guess. there would be even more doors for altruism in this new scenario like giveing a 3rd food to someone with only 1 food and get a sexual partner like this would mean they reproduce more often though it wouldnt be a fully altruistic gene but a "lets help each other"-gene non the less im sure it would compete succesfully. hope you get this message i like your stuff keep it up
