Character Poll December 2025 - Collaborative OC (Patreon)

Hello, I'll be decently busy this month, so I decided to do something simpler for the character poll this month. It's been awhile since we've done a collaborative "build a bear OC" type, so I thought maybe that'd be fun. The idea was to choose a sort of wintery animal as a base and then expand out from there with some clothes and a body type. I'll write a bit about each of my ideas for every category, so if you're curious feel free to dive into that. Otherwise, as always you can vote for as many options as you'd like.

--------------------------------------ANIMAL:All of these seem like normal picks except I might get a few weird looks for picking "goat" and the short answer is, I just wanted an option with reasonable horns LOL. But also, look at this unit of a goat LOL. I did consider snow leopards/lynxes and foxes, but I use cat and fox motifs pretty often so I wanted to give something else a shot. I did briefly consider deer as well, but antlers are a pain to design around. They're really cool, but, well I suppose with doe antlers they wouldn't be as large. Either way, I like goats, we're going with a goat LMAO.I'll likely be yoinking the ears and tails of each animal, unless that animal is a bird then I'll probably add some feathers or something in place of animal ears. I'm not sure how much I want to lean into the "personality" of each animal. Since, I'm a big believer in gap moe. I think things are most appealing when you can play against expectations. I'd likely need more time to consider that properly, so maybe if there's a clear winner early on I'll be able to come up with something good.

CLOTHES:Honestly I kinda just picked what I'm into. Clothes are always sort of my weak point since I... tend not to draw them often (tehepero). So I figured it'd be nice to have something with simpler shapes.I think a lot of these are pretty self explanatory, but with the body suit I'd likely do a tight one piece suit and maybe some kind of puffy jacket over it? For the dress, I don't think I'd go too over the top with designing it, but I think a split leg dress would be pretty appealing. If I was gonna do a kimono, I'd likely make it something pretty short. This would probably be the most difficult since I'd need to do research, but I dunno, kimonos are always nice.

BODY TYPE:I got a feeling tall petite isn't gonna do too hot, but I suppose you never know lol. the "CBT default" is how I'd normally draw a character. So you know, busty and wide hips and decently tall. Short stack will be similar just, shorter. I'm not gonna be making them like, goblin short or anything, so you don't have to worry about that.
