Hey guys!

Im super excited for you guys to see this first episode. You get early access before everyone else does later this week. Below the series spoilers all of the sources and further readings, (plus videos used!),  are listed.

It is definitely recommended that you watch the series in full, in order! <3 When the first episode is shared on youtube, PRETTY PLEASE go like, COMMENT, and share so that the algorithm carries me in it's favor.

Episode 2 premieres at the end of February.

How This Series Works:  IF YOU DONT LIKE SPOILERS, DON'T READ

I get global in episodes 1 + 7, weaving in Reagan's goals and policies along the way. Episode 2 explores economic changes and the election of 1984, along with the consumer glitz and glam that dominated the era. Episode 3 focuses on the black experience in politics, pop culture, and more... while building on foundational topics in earlier episodes and providing context for the culture wars in episode 4, women in episode 5, and the mental weight of AIDS, drugs, crime, celebrity, and media in episode 6. Episode 6 also deals with the psyche of white men who reject the changes we establish and explore during the first five episodes. You'll also be treated to minisodes that expand the 80s landscape even further. Check out the Intelexual Media twitter page for more content!

This is incredible work. Maurice Bishop has been so overlooked and under-discussed.

Loli Baquerizo

Wow, the blatant disregard for third world countries sovereignty by the American empire is so triggering to me. The effects of this last till this day. Amazing series, needs to be known with this level of detail by everyone!
