Hey guys! I said I'd have some 'for fun' comic shenanigans for you during TIP JAR month and here's the first page of what I have in store for you.

My girlfriend recently binged the first season of Beastars and while I can't say I was into absolutely every part of it I DID enjoy the little side story of the chicken who took a lot of pride in her egg quality. That little bit of inspiration led to me thinking about a this couple here, one who is very proud of her egg production and a fox who is juuust a teensy bit of an egg-addict.

So two things. First, Beastars is one of my favorite pieces of media in the last while, but for sure it has some rough parts. Second, Scotch Eggs are something I ahve to figure out how to make right because they're fucking magical.

Oh and yeah Beastars is amazing in several ways! I love the art and the animation. It can just be a bit overly dramatic, but that's to be expected from a drama :P

I'd love to share the first ones I ever had but I don't think you're anywhere near southeast Pennsylvania. I've tried a few since then and let me tell you, soft-boiled is the way to go. Get a recipe and try it yourself. I'm finding that a lot of my small goals like that are only obstructed because I just don't DO them, you know?
