So back in February was the last time I opened the floor for the Q & A section of this patreon and I apologize, I don't know why I completely dropped the ball on this so I just uploaded the new Q & A opportunity for $4, $8 and $10 patrons available here! Feel free to shoot your shot and ask for some advice, help, inside look on how I work or maybe if there's enough of a desire, I can do a tutorial for something!

Ok so I'm gonna answer the questions I got from last month here!

Question #1 What process do you go through when you decide to create a pin or another piece of merch?

I feel like this might be kinda not helpful because it's pretty straight forward. So first things first, brainstorm or like... in my case, I just went through my sketchbook after I had drawn a bunch of little doodles and sketches of random things and ended up really loving how some of the sketches came out to the point where I decided this might be my now or never time to do pins. And after the good reception I got from my clowns I thought it was the right time haha.

Here are the initial sketches from the sketchbook

Then I took them into photoshop and used a very clean, binary tool to create the lines. The manufacturer I use for pins seems to give me a much better product if I'm REALLY specific with how I mark my lines, colours etc; Thats' all like... the businessy side of things, but I keep this and a bunch of other things in mind when doing the final lines/colours but tbh it's all pretty like... common sense once you start doing it and have done your research.

After that I send them in and do all the like nitty gritty of pricing and production blah blah

THEN I get the bad boys in and ugh so satisfying. I also made pin backs because I just love how they look, I like the idea of when they arrive to a customer they feel like a present you're opening, since that's how I love opening main. I also had planned on selling these at conventions BUT you know, this year has kinda been knocked over and beaten with a bat in terms of conventions but this was a good learning experience for presentation and I really love the final look!

Hopefully this helped somewhat? Tbh it's pretty straight forward. I will say I'm not comfortable giving out information on the like, business process because it's really different depending on who you use. Just, do your research, jump on google you can find all the answers you need. It's honestly really easy. Everyone just finds a company on Alibaba that does hard enamel pins, and if you're lucky, a company will reach out to you.

Question #2 Also, If you could safely have ANY animal as a pet, what animal would you have?

A squid. No. An octopus. NO. A cuttle fish ugh I wish I had a huge fucking wall in my house that was just an aquarium with like cephalopods.

I'll be real with u all, Bonnie my Cherry Bomb BP was like my DREAM pet <3 I feel like part of me wants to say I would want a Burmese Python but I know that's not true because I would be terrified of it hurting my other pets like every second of my life even if it was safely housed lolol.

Yeah just give me a huge tank of cephalopods (except nautilus ew i'll bully those any day)
