Midcentury Modern Girlfriends [High Res Illustration] (Patreon)

Wanted to experiment a bit with colouring... if u know me at all u know I hate colouring it's probably my least favourite part of drawing LOL I just, do not enjoy it.. but I LOVE coloured pieces so I really struggle with hating the process but loving the final outcome. 

I wanted to play around with my 1950's Girlfriends from like 2 years ago LOL I wanna do some more of these I really love the simplicity of the process of colouring this and the weird, abstract lines. I just... want to work towards an art style that's faster to flesh out so I can produce more art I enjoy vs. me spending a ton of time rendering things in a style I don't like and then ultimately wasting my time. I tend to find work that focuses on my inking and doesn't get too detailed with colours is the most successful, whether it performs on SM well or art that I constantly return to and am happy with.

idk why im rambling. I know most of u are here for Bubbline and comics but for those who are here for art itself I thought maybe u'd enjoy my chaotic brain and what I'm thinking/feeling as I draw ; o ; / 

I recorded a timelapse for this but I have been recording a ton of them so I might... just splice them into 1 video to post for u guys instead of like 4 separate 50 second videos U _ U
