Oh, boy. This one took some time, had to stop-start several times due to RL wackadoo.

But our she-wolf's been waiting so, so long to be the big girl, so let's see just how that all goes for her--and for everyone else! <3 Hope it's fun finding out for those interested! Up next is...well, you know =3

The fact nobody has commented on this one is a shame. Out of all the stories we’ve had for the finales, this one is my favourite. It feels like blasphemy to say it when Melon is my absolute favourite of all time. Yet I cannot deny just how much this one struck a chord with me. I have long since ruminated on the “beyond” that exists outside observable reality and your comics have gone a long way to fuelling such thoughts. However, the idea of putting it all into words is something I’ve struggled with. I have tried and I did think I did a good job, but this? This blows all that out of the water. It cracks the meta-physical, celestial barrier and just spills forth forbidden knowledge and excess. The buildup at the beginning is similar to what we’ve had before, the back and forth, the anger, the fury, scheming and distress. And you’d be forgiven for thinking that it would follow a similar pattern as before. Conflict, chiding, a race for a cure, and someone being the biggest by the end and civilisation starting anew. But this one kicks you in the teeth and says “HOLD ONTO YOUR HATS BECAUSE I JUST DISABLED THE BRAKES!” And it does not lie. From the moment Juno returns back to the scene it is a non-stop rollercoaster of drama and excess. The growth is as excellently written as ever, perhaps even better than usual because of the abstraction on display. The characters end up in places that are rarely seen in these kinds of scenarios. From around the mid-point, I was reading through completely engrossed. The descriptions, the way the plot was moving, I was hooked. I could see the scenes clear as day, wonderfully weird and yet equally as believable. And the final segments? When the characters resigned themselves to fate and accepted their roles? When even *they* paused for a moment and offered a simple “heh”? It was like being hit with a calming realisation / acceptance. As if, I and the characters, had realised that this was it. And everything beyond that point? Pure brilliance. The final segment is just the icing on the cake. For YEARS I have needed something to showcase some of my incredibly specifc enjoyments in this niche we all enjoy. And this is it. This is exactly what I’ve needed. So thank you for this absolutely delightful treat. It was a joy to read every word.

Thanks so much, for this one in particular! I've tried for ages as well to put it correctly, that perfect-giddy-terror of complete abandon, and Juno was becoming that avatar as the project shaped up ^^

She was definitely deserving of it, just thinking about how if this was the canon ending, she’d have gone from a shy and timid wolf who was trying to learn how best to score with the object of her affections. Only to become *this*, and still fuelled by the same possessive desire that keeps pushing her onward. It’s a delightful thought and I’m eager to re-read it again whenever I need the proper inspiration.

The only reason I didn't reply yet, was that I haven't read this Story, until now. I had a lot of IRL things, keep me from it, too. Which some of them, were working on my own Story Series. But I'll leave a comment on here. When I'm more awake.

Holy heck, I was not expecting THIS MUCH excessiveness, but it is VERY much welcome, whew~

It only felt right, letting her really live up to her deepest, most uh...ongoingest desires~

Borusa Ryalam

A she wolf deserves to have those desires granted~
