Well, for the two of you that get the full joke, and know of both shows (which ran at the same time period, no less), here you go XD

Not that everyone has to get it, or know of both shows; worse comes to worse, hey, a cute cartoon donker is getting too big for anyone to know what to do with! REALLY too big! >.>;

I grew up catching bits of Hee-Haw (and a lot of He-Man), and I liked the cartoon donkey at the beginning of each episode of HH enough that I always remembered him, so...CROSSOVER TIME!

Included are some small versions and sketchings! Enjoy! There's more to come, and not just the next chunk of Alakaxander <3

Aint never heard of Hee Haw nor did I watch He-Man growing up. Funny cross over tho haha. The names line up perfectly. I did see the newish He-Man Netflix series. That was great. Everyone got to use the sword and grow big in that one actually haha. There was even plenty of background furries and a dragon too.

I'll admit, I've never heard of Hee Haw, but I really like the idea behind this. A fun idea for sure 😀

Blizzard Wuffy

Are you kidding me!? Dude it's like you read my brain making this, this entire thing is my aesthetic 😂 Fuck yeah!! I'm one of the two! xD

Vadric

I'm torn! I feel so damned old! ...But this is a crossover I didn't know I needed, so... Actually, I guess it evens out. Or maybe this outweighs the old feeling. Actually, it seems to really outweigh the... Wait a minute... Stop growing on the scales when I'm trying to measure!

Chumlee99

I ain’t gonna lie…can easily see this one getting tinkered on into a long comic involving Gordon and the cast of a Hee-Haw variety show at his studio being asked to do a very particular episode based on the hit show Gro-Man and the titans of the universe and next thing we know Gordon and the cast are all huge titans all bulgy and looming and hyper hanging out in space acting out the episode…then after the show ends, the one playing Teela asks how do they shrink down to normal and Gordon goes…good question (the episode is a smash success, the highest in planet history)

Urulai

XD epic crossover!

Dnapalmhead

I did see the giganto-Skeletor, that is true >.> Glad it works, even without the show being experienced personally–er, shows XD Had they only made THIS the crossover episode >/////>

Dnapalmhead

It ran from 1969-1993, which is a huge run, but it still isn't something I would readily expect anyone past the 90s to magically know, yeah X3 Even I only watched Hee-Haw for the opening donk footage, then changed the channel XD

Dnapalmhead

Whoo! That's twice the actual folks I expected! I'd had the initial sketch since '23 (which I'm trying to find back now, I know it's on the PC), so I wasn't really sure it'd ever get done Then, after I did it and was like "there, done, now let me get back to my other stuff"...yeah, I was already making him barn-sized, and all was lost

Dnapalmhead

NO The important thing is, we take the good material from back then and carry it on, the way it was meant to be carried ...Uncarryably huge

Dnapalmhead

It's certainly getting there! It was tough rotoscoping the donkey after his pecs eclipsed the entire galaxy

Chumlee99

Johan, James, and the Rest of the Flex cast gathering around to watch the The New Gargantuan Adventures of Gro-Man and the Titans of the Universe

Chumlee99

“Well great Skeletor, he’s outgrowing the galaxy, now what?” *annoyed groan at what he has to say under contract* “Ladies and Gentlemen…Mr. Conway Twitty (I hate you all so much.)”

Dnapalmhead

Finally...a show for the Boys ^.==.^ Not those The Boys Our the Boys =3

Azahar Centeno

I only recount Hee-Haw from a Family Guy gag, but seeing you do this amazing set piece was just simply beautiful. Honestly, you always find a way to make me enjoy character designs in ways that I didn’t think I would, and seeing a Donkey be that enormous, and be part of a parody - AND A JOKE? Just beautiful all around. 🥹 (Also, kind of worried about Mr. Roy there… not going to lie.) 😳

Dnapalmhead

He can play himself off of any set as long as Johnny's around on the piano! And thanks!! It was super-fun to do!

Sindeling

I saw a hee haw intro out of curiosity and there was an animated dog in the promo too.

Chumlee99

He can be Man-at-arms (or Dog at arms)

Ryuakira

So THIS was what you were telling us about, sure didn't expect it to go such a super sized route, but I ain't complaining! < 3 And I can't say I know anything about He-haw either, never heard of it X3

Dnapalmhead

Hehe, that's the case for most! Both shows were referenced in The Simpsons, but otherwise it's just MotU that persists in pop culture now =3

JJ

I just looked it up. That's very cute. I love seeing the donkey get super huge and muscular. Especially the third and fourth page with those giant pecs of his. And of course, classic Orko. My favorite character did it again. ^.=.^

Dnapalmhead

It's always Orko! Good job, little buddy ^^

JJ

Maybe he can do the same thing for Lizard Man in He-Man.
