As you know, I like to branch out beyond mutantly large tiddies every now and again. Earlier in the year I challenged myself to recreate a favourite childhood pass time of mine: getting a big sheet of paper and drawing epic Zoids battles! This is the result.

You don't just build 'em, you bring 'em to life!

Manic

I don't know if you got it over in the States, but there was an awesome Zoids comic written by Grant Morrison back in the eighties

Manic

Ooo, I wanna do Voltron next!

Blackstone

Yes, we did had a few in the states, but only in special stores that deals with imports. I do remember the comic, but not sure if they sold them in the states?

Manic

It was first published as a back-up strip in the weekly Secret Wars comic before moving to its own sister title with Spider-Man. I always thought it was strange that it didn't go to the Transformers comic as that seemed like more of a natural home for it.

Maladjester

Wow. That one pushed a way-back button I didn't even know was there. I forgot all about those things.

I like the use of colour in this image!
