This one turned out alright! I love doing this kind of cheesecake stuff. I kind of want to go off and draw the stories behind each image now, though.

Total_Carnage

Very funny to think this is the first time I've seen someone here (barring StripperHulk) use their powers for monetary gain.

Manic

worth exploring as an idea, I think!

Confidente100

I thought you were going to start a new Mother of Altawoman comic. XD

Manic

Well, this story acts as a prologue for the story after "The Ultimate Trap" so it kind of is a comic

Thomas B.

Absolutely love the Lana Clarkson reference. Curious if you saw her in the Black Scorpion? She has an origin story in that which really deserves a Manic-style glow up.

Manic

I was completely unaware of who Lana Clarkson was before you posted--- but many thanks for enlightening me! 😋

Thomas B.

She’s a total babe. That 80s/90s pulp is amazing. I think between Lana Clarkson and Dina Meyer, I had a love of strong women instilled rather quickly.

Agent Zero

Oh sweet mother of Altawoman!

Confidente100

I thought the previous three pages formed a complete comic!

Confidente100

Are either of you aware of Athena Massey? XD

Manic

As someone who was a teenager with access to late night movies in the 1990's....yes 🤫

Thomas B.

Yeah, Athena was great. All the women in Red Alert really were amazing. Also seriously check out Black Scorpion, the whole mild-mannered to stunner is a big trope.

Manic

I was aware of Black Scorpion from when it was originally broadcast! I even made some (probably very bad) fanart of it back in the day.

Thomas B.

Honestly that era of television was so good. Also Corey Everson in Hercules was incredible. And pretty much everyone who acted in Xena. The golden era of pulp.

Confidente100

I loved Athena Massey's role as Lt. Eva in Red Alert 2.

Thomas B.

Confidente, you have me going down a whole Athena Massey rabbit hole now of the movies she was in, haha.

Confidente100

Heh! Don't mention it. I wonder whether Manic has portrayed her likeness before...

Manic

Haven't done, no.

Manic

I keep extending it, but it was always the plan for there to be more

Confidente100

I hope you get the chance to do so some day!

Steven Switalski

Maybe before you do that you should finish some of the other things you’re working on. It seems like you already have several other projects in the works

Confidente100

I see! I look forward to the rest of the story.

Strollonthewildside

Think I actually have this piece of you can handle seeing it again!

Confidente100

Strollonthewildside: What are you talking about?

Strollonthewildside

I meant his Bladk Scorpion Fan Art piece that he referred to above. I believe I do have that little piece of Manic Archive if he wants me to share it!
