Probably one of the most detailed and involved pages I've ever made! I got so obsessed with it, that I spent all day yesterday drawing and designing a front cover for Diana's novel just so I could use it in a tiny thumbnail at the bottom. One more page of this and then that is finally curtains on issue one!

It's taken 20+ years of following your work but I think it's safe to say that she is my favourite character of yours and this might be your magnum opus.

Agent Zero

I love the Felix phone

Strollonthewildside

Flashbacks to Indiana Jones Video Games where I scroll the cursor across every single book in the library.

Is her book just a straight up re telling of her time as cavegirl with herself being the protagonist or did she made up a character and story based on cavegirl?

Agent00Soul

That would be a pretty funny twist ending if this whole thing is Diane talking to her psychiatrist in an insane asylum with a made up story within a made up story.

Love the 1984 shoutout. One of my favorite books.

I have a similar question: Is her book about a modern woman with the power to transform into Cavegirl, or is it just a retelling of Cavegirl’s exploits?

This is really well done and the scenery throughout this whole comic spread has been amazing. I've been a fan of Conan and Kull since I was young and the homages back to a Savage World in an Age Undreamed is so incredibly perfect. Looking forward to see what the last page has in store. And because I can't help but notice...Diane's editor is quite cute. I imagine she'd be quite the looker if a bit of Savage Energy managed to hit her.

Manic

I think it would be a work of fiction heavily based upon her experiences.

Manic

Thank you! Conan was actually a big inspiration for this comic.

Manic

My magnum opus is hopefully still ahead of me! But thank you all the same

A beautifully drawn page!

I see where you're coming from, but I'll be happy whether we get one more or a few more pages.

Cut to a random BookTok reviewer roasting the book because it features a blonde woman becoming what they identify as a PoC, or because the steamy parts were not steamy enough. "Honestly, this wouldn't penetrate my Top 5, which includes My Time at the Werewolf Breeding Farm in Maine by L. A. Bia."
