There's going to be a She-Hulk transformation scene coming up in Red Alert (which I'm sure you are all devastated to hear about) and I've been looking at a few options for depicting it. A little while ago I set about redrawing the first She-Hulk tf from Red Alert because I was unhappy with elements of it. I dug it out and completed it with the idea that I could use it in the way the old cartoon use to use 'stock hulk out' footage of the same transformation sequences. Then I thought nahh-- so there are going to be two versions of it, both original. However, this is quite a nice drawing so I thought id put it here. Might finish it someday.

Even “the scraps” are worth looking at…

Even the first one is iconic. Can’t wait to see the other version!

The top row reminds me of the, “Feels like someone’s lighting my fire,” scene from She-Hulk’s first transformation in the 1996 cartoon.

Your legions of fans have never seen half the imperfections that you always do but I suppose that perfectionist gene is what keeps you delivering great work. I’m curious how your experiments into biro and other materials forcing you to not overthink and re-do your work is going, seemed quite a therapeutic method in that respect

You could "recycle" or "upcycle" this drawing for a subsequent part of the Red Alert comic.

I think the next She-Hulk tf will almost certainly be the last one in the comic, unfortunately.

I try and bring that energy into every TF scene I create.

It's both a blessing and a curse to never be satisfied with the work you do. A blessing because you are constantly driving yourself to do better, but also a curse because nothing is ever good enough. That's life!

Little late to the party, but it is an improvement. The shoe burst in this version is especially good, IMO.
