Love these types of scenarios, you manage to create a great ability to build tension as they try and control the tf when they know they can’t release it. Urtha on the bus or trapped behind Sarah in the unstoppables are great examples of this!

Think I was already a convert long before but they’re definitely pieces I keep coming back to. While partly it’s just a love of the Urtha design, the situation is what makes it. Fantastic artwork alone Manic just naturally gets it about the elements that make it work. Fear and adrenaline at seeing their secret exposed, the desperate attempts to get away when they realised they’re trapped as they try and fight it within, but with a dash of horniness they know they really want to give in to it, spread out over several pages of slowly developing, clothes ripping, growing atmospheric build up are when Manic’s comics truly shine in my eyes. Tawn unwelcome visitor is probably another good example of this.

Exactly, couldn’t put it better myself! I can’t really think of any other artists that captures those scenarios and emotions quite as well as Manic does.
