An old rumor says that there is a lost Frozen City that has a lot of ancient relics able to grand powers beyond a human can imagine. Many have tried to find the city and all of them have failed. Groups of people storming the sites that are believed to be connected to the city.
One of these groups is a small team of researchers trying to solve this mystery. They traveled from place to place and now they are located in North Pole. It was late at night with a bright blue moon illuminating on the snow. While turning back from a scouting mission a researcher spotted a red rock. A very bright shiny rock! It's unusual glow lured him in an instant. He picked up the strange rock, but by the time he called for his team, nobody was there... Thankfully he had a map and a compass. He rushed to the camp site... Again nobody was there, not even a trace of the camp. It's impossible to move all this gear so fast, he thought. Something strange was happening. He felt eyes staring at him. Friends? Enemies? Before he even had the time to think about it, the presence of the eyes disappeared. He started walking, worried, scared and cold. After a while he noticed a change in the temperature. He was right, his fingers were getting numb and burning by the sheer cold. He kept walking... Minutes became hours, he was ready to give up. Lie down and wait to die. Until he saw something. A little steam cloud emitting from the ground as someone... was breathing. He used the remaining enrgy he had to run towards that steam. It was a woman. Covered in snow as if it was her bed. Her skin was pale, her hair was white. She looked like a dead frozen body. But... she is breathing! Should I touch her? Leave her here and run? He needed an answer.
He was a good man. Always wanted to help those in need, He tried to lift her body. By the time he made contact with her he felt a cold wave passing though his veins. No energy left to react, he was tired and ready to give in. Slowly closing his eyes and falling to his knees. As he is falling he noticed something, She opened her eyes! Red, just like the shiny rock he found. Heh, you are alive, he said with a weak voice and a smile. Everything is black, silence. A void. Am I dead? Who was that girl?
Through this nothingness a warm and calm voice wrapped his body. The voice spoke. Sleep, rest, you are still alive. I will take care of you. You proved me wrong...
The Frozen City is under plot thinking and will be on move early November!
Thanks!
