I've seen that speech so many times and yet I still tear up. I adore the Twelfth Doctor. There's an episode where Capaldi gives a master class in acting. I'm looking forward to your reaction to it.

I love how much you highlighted the phenomenal acting in this episode. First, your comments about Jenna in the scenes between Clara and Bonnie. Then, that being completely overshadowed by Capaldi with that speech. Your reaction was great! Whilst that should rate as the performance of a lifetime, for Capaldi it's one of many in contention for that title (even if you restrict it to Doctor Who). This might stay as your favourite performance from him. For me, it's hard to pick just one. So much more brilliance to come. I'm looking forward to your reaction to it.

can remember watching this w my dad when it aired and the SECOND “Clara” tied her hair back in that ponytail we were both pulling that Leonardo DiCaprio meme like 🫵🏻🤨 “THAT’S not Clara” 😭 this is a CRIMINALLY underrated two-parter but you clocked what everyone always says about them: PETER MF CAPALDI 🗣️🗣️ that SPEECH has gone down in Doctor Who HISTORY! what an absolute LEGEND!! it was lovely seeing you finally witness one of his best moments 🤩 so glad you enjoyed it!! every episode you get closerrr……….👀🤭
