In the TB bar scene, the way Ilya fishes for clues to what’s going on with Shane: it’s all in his eyes: they question and challenge Shane at the same time. Ilya is totally smitten with him even though he’d rather be benched than admit it.

Ilya was robbed of MVP ;P This is my fav episode of the season even though the next is *chefs kiss*, and my fav scene is actually them at the bar in florida - its like they are finally opening up all the possibilities of their futures. How guarded Ilya is at the start being so terse then them freely laughing and smiling. This episode just has so much. And our beautiful supportive queens in Svetlana and Rose. ugh.

UGH Jay I’ve been so excited for your reaction to this episode since you started the show!!! It really is just a perfect episode of TV from start to that incredible finish which literally NO ONE sees coming- and that’s part of the beauty of it. The emotional impact of that scene AND the one with Ilya’s phone call is something else, and I knew you would be so moved by both those!
