32;11 In case anyone watching didn't catch the Britishism here: The husband of the ballet teacher was going on and on about how awful the coal mine strikes were, "just a bunch of commies stirring up trouble", and saying people should just man up and get to work. Then Billy asks "What do you do, sir?" and the young girl says: "He's been made redundant" Which means: he was let go from his job and is now unemployed. 😂 This is why Billy then smirks, and takes the man's griping much less seriously (and less personally).

Jay, I cry every time I watch this movie. And I'm so glad I was able to cry again watching it with you. I watched it in the movie theaters when it came out, and it has been incredibly meaningful for me ever since. TRIVIA FUN FACT: Tom Holland played Billy in the stage production of "Billy Elliot" in London, back when he was very young and before he was famous!

Beck Huston

Lovely movie. The sound balance was a bit off. The movie was very quiet and your voice was very loud. But I loved your reaction as always.

Mitch Nawojczyk

That's a great movie...so glad you enjoyed it. Many many great moments and very prophetic... following your dreams! Another good reaction. New digs??

Rich

There is filmed version of the Billy Elliott stage musical available on various streaming services. Music by Elton John. You may enjoy a watch.

JayPerView

Sorry about the audio issues with this one, didn’t realize it was so bad until now but you’re absolutely right!!! Glad you enjoyed despite it 🙌🏻

Love this movie, forgot it was amongst the winners of the last polls, so a pleasant surprise, and once again loved your reaction. 😊

JayPerView

YAY!!! Sorry for that looooooooooooong wait but glad you enjoyed 😄

Ah - I've just re-joined your Patreon for this.

Yes, the sound quality is very poor. It sounded as if there was running water in the background which was drowning out (excuse the pun) the voices of the actors. Also, in comparison your voice was much greater than the actors' voices. Jay - is it not possible to check sound levels BEFORE you upload the whole review? This is a terrfic film and is actually based on a true story! It's certainly up there as one of my favourite films of all time. Another of my alltime favourites (also featuring Julie Walters) is 'Educating Rita' which also has Michael Caine in a starring role. Any chance you could include that on a future poll please?

Tymm Reacts

I wish I could actually hear the movie. It's so low that I miss more than half of it. Thankfully, I know it. But, it still is frustrating that you have it so low.

Tymm Reacts

I mean, who doesn't love Julie Walters? She's fabulous!

Anna

Yesss would defo second this it's a really good adaptation and the proshot is really well done!

JayPerView

Yeah I’m really sorry about that :(( I don’t have the file anymore otherwise I’d fix it and reupload, I just didn’t realize at all it was so low when I produced it Will do my very best to make sure it never happens again 💙

JayPerView

Yeah I screwed up BIG time not double checking the sound with this one 😅 I’m really sorry about it but I did enjoy your pun LOL I’ll try to remember but next movie suggestion post comment it again and I’ll include it in the poll!!! Glad to see ya back!!! Apologize once again for the sound issues
