I didn't appreciate 12 at first. I was too heart broken about 11. But when I revisited 12 a few years later, I found him to be the best doctor. His characterizations, his powerful monologues, his kindness under his rough exterior, his never ending commitment to those he loves (punching a wall for 4.5 billion years just to get Clara back), his strength to be vulnerable and eventually accepting moving on to the next version and the clear character arc that went from no nonsense to going out protecting a bunch of children making him the kind man we knew by the end. And did you notice the Shepherds Boy becoming 12's defining theme? The theme from Heaven sent as he was punching through the wall? It played during his regeneration and when he was blowing up the cybermen in the doctor falls. And while I would put 12 at the top of the modern Doctors (with David and Matt behind him), I echo what the fourth Doctor, Tom Baker, said, "No one has ever failed at playing Doctor Who." All add some amazing things to the legacy. Though I miss 12.

It's sad to see 12's era end. Curious to see your reactions for the new doctor though.

CLARAAAAAAAAAAA 😭😭🩷 so again I'd like to remind you that Peter Capaldi wrote his own goodbye speech as the Doctor. while crying. 😀👍🏻 and we have reached the END of an ERA ☹️ CONGRATULATIONS AND WHAT DID I TELL YOU ABOUT HIM CLIMBING THAT MF DOCTOR RANKING HE'S THE GOATTTTT THE GOATTTTTTTTTT 🗣️🗣️🩷 forever missed and always in our hearts, Capaldi the legend ♡

Sadly, Clara's appearance confirms that she did, in fact, go back to face the raven - and die. Testimony takes people at the end of their lives :( Also, the source for the 'hate is always foolish, and love is always wise' is an interview with an old British philosopher named Bertrand Russell; viz. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WIoAwxxb-mI
