Hello dear patrons. I'm happy to say that the Kickstarter for the first book went pretty well. As such, the second book also gets a physical edition! Here's a link to the kickstarter page:

It looks like by the time I got around to making this post, the Kickstarter already achieved its goal, though, so... thanks? You guys are really unreal.

Here's some pretty artwork:

Anyway, I intend to publish another AU chapter tomorrow to celebrate, so you should be hearing from me again pretty soon.

Congrats on hitting the 100k!

I bought the first arc and love it! However I missed the Kickstarter for ArC 2. Is there anyway for me to still buy ARC 2?

Domagoj Kurmaic

Yes. Kickstarter allows you to still order the second arc, even though the campaign is over. Just click on it and it should take you to the page allowing you to order a copy.

We beg of you for another AU chapter. Anyways, insta backed.

Hello, i couldn't support the first Kickstarter and hoped for a way to have the complete edition one day, do you know if all books will be available in physical one day?

Ferlin Sutton Léo

The new kickstarter allows you to order the first one as well

Any chance we could get a different illustration for each chapter?

Domagoj Kurmaic

As in, one image per chapter? Sounds... very ambitious. Working with the artist has mostly been done by Wraithmarked (I was consulted extensively, but I didn't communicate directly with the artists) so I don't know how possible that would be, but I'm guessing it would be hard to pull off. Getting even a handful of images is a lot of work, and takes quite a bit of back-and-forth. Out of curiosity, is there any paperback book that has a unique illustration for each chapter? Not saying they don't exist, but I don't remember ever seeing one.

As the other commentator said, you can still get the first book through this Kickstarter. It was actually possible to get the first book even after the first Kickstarter ended, but I misunderstood things and was basically spreading incorrect information whenever people asked me about it for a long while. Sorry if you're one of those people - I honestly thought no new orders could be made after the Kickstarter ends.

Paperback? No idea :/ I think some harry potter illustrated hardbacks have some. So maybe only the most sold series on the planet has that kind of budget ^ ^

Just got the arc 1 hardcover last week and I'm so happy with it. Pledged to the new Kickstarter as soon as I got home and it's already on 50k, unreal

Some books do, but usually those are either kids books and/or illustrations are small and simplified. Think Mumin series, there's plenty of text abd decent number of illustrations, but they're basically just professionaly done doodles (iconic ones, but still). RPG books often have a LOT of illustrations often at least one full page illustration per chapter and a number of smaller illustrations inside. But these high-end tabletop RPG books are expensive to produce with low profit margins, especially for indies/self-publishing (you can ask somebody with actual experience). And you need not only art to consider, but overall art design and work with artists... It costs a lot, unless freelance artists are mistreated, which happens too often. :( I'd rather see a fewer number of great cover art pieces and let the book speak for itself.

I dare not speak his name!

Wraithmarked are ruining international shipping. They charge exorbitant rates for shipping extra books, because they ship each book individually, which also incurs additional handling fees from customs, because everything's shipped from China, not (say) from within EU.
