A weigthless waifu~This time I've got the chance to draw a character that is truly close to my heart. A very best girl, Ai Tanabe, from the very unique Planetes series. I can honestly recommend everyone to watch it (or read the manga!). Even if you aren't super-into serious space tech stuff, there are some truly inspiring characters to meet in that story.Ok, but I'm rambling. Back to the waifus topic, she was submitted to the Wishlist by Sabaku no Maiku. I hope everyone likes my rendition of her, in graceful zero G!

I’d love to visit the planet she’s from 0w0

A

I love the 0G breasts!

A

Aren't you already there?

PlatyShroom

Well..you never know 😅

Ashley Mason

Not enough sexy astronauts. Really hit that spot. A beautiful feel of zero-G, and a touch of emotion is more gorgeous. Sure she is nude, but as she holds he hands out, a sweet and charming smile on her face, her space-suit zipped down to reveal nothing beneath, it has that connection between the viewer and her. More than just breasts. It is most beautiful.

What a nice surprise, as Planetes is one of my all time favorite series. Excellent submission, Sabaku no Maiku!

renkash

You really seemed to have fun with this piece. The details are fun to count.

Fegu

Haha, glad you can tell! Yeah, even if wasn't Tanabe, astronauts and space stuff is among my main interests! :D

Fegu

waah, so awesome to hear you approve of it so! xD I really wanted to capture that unique Tanabe-tenderness of expression. A love-beaming girl, as she is! (And yes, you get it! The body was... a challenge. There wasn't really any official material to go with, for -those-! I had to resort to intuition! ) I'll just say it again, thank you so much for picking an incredible character like her for your waifu entry. =)

Fegu

Thanks for your feedback, Ash!! : )

Fegu

Oh!! And I always felt it was a little obscure show (undeservedly so!), as most people I've mentioned it to had never heard of it before. Good to know at least some more of us know and love the series! ^_^b

Fegu

I'd love to work as a space-garbage collector, just so could be on the same office as her T¬T

PlatyShroom

Yas! Space junky who collects the most trashy of space debris ;3

Sabaku no Maiku, you are a gentleman and a scholar. Planetes is one of my favourite anime, and Ai is pure love (JP pun intended). That's a beautiful rendering of her, and makes me think impure thoughts about zero gravity and Velcro. Lots of Velcro...<3 Fegu, I hope you draw more astronauts and space stuff in the near future. I'd love to see your take on SpaceX's recent concepts...

renkash

Huh. Who knew. Looking forward to Elon Musk shooting a car into space?

Fegu

wellll... it's a start! xD
