I feel like Orihime and Yhwach are going to be in some "astral" plane next episode that will allow them to talk so that we can finally learn the true origin of the 3 worlds in the anime. Maybe it'll be a younger version of Yhwach similar to Tensa Zangetsu so the two of them can relate more. Regardless, this episode was insane. I was just holding my head the entire time so it didn't explode.

I think his Bankai might be foresight cracking, fate. The amount of times YHBWH was surprised in this episode was insane. His Bankai might break the foresight in bits but can't stop the almighty

I definitely have a theory I think everything that transpired was one of the futures that yhwach could see, and so everything we just saw was a flash forward of a possible future and so the moment ichigo calls out his bankai is when yhwach takes his powers and breaks it and then he states that it was dangerous and then everything that we know is still accurate and then maybe his other bankai is what it looks like after it’s broken, and after part of his powers are gone

I think Uryu trying to remove the power from Hash is what causes the Almighty to return to Yhwach. Either he tries to remove the power and it gets sent back, or Hash sends it back and maybe gets stripped of "The Balance" instead, or something. And then, using that power, Yhwach will choose a future where, because of Ichigo and Orihime's powerful performance, he chooses a future right before the Bankai is activated and we "rewind" back to that point. This way, alot of this episode functions like that "vision" of the Bankai/defeate Yhwach saw in the manga.

Maybe Yuha's fighting style is different here because Haschwalt still has the Almighty leaving him to only fight with the raw soul king power. Separately, I've also always wondered if Tsukishima making it so that Ichigo's blade never broke could have also retroactively undone every other time Ichigo's sword has broken throughout the series, from the fight with Kenny to the first bout with Yuha, somehow changing the form of his blade. I still expect the old true bankai to appear somehow, but whatever it actually is and however it actually works will surely be different.

We've had so many of the fan bases checklist ticked off... What are we missing? dads to fight something - (dadkai and fatherstandig?) Aizen bankai? Bankai for ukitake and the Vizard? Hisagis bankai? Do we think maybe uryu removing the almighty from haschwalth allows Yhwach to come back like it was the worst possible timing. She can't be actually dead right now breaths from hell doesn't exist... Please.... Her sacrifice was so damn beautiful but pleased be ok orihime!!

Is it just me who didnt like Ichigo and Rukia just immediately start bantering after he has just seen Orihime get practically killed and bring herself back dozens of times in a row? other than that nit-picking was a 10/10 episode best episode of bleach all together in my opinion.

Idk if my comment didn’t post, so if I have two comments I apologize in advanced. But! This episode was absolutely incredible. I watched the episode twice back to back and was so excited for your live reaction. As for my predictions, I think that with Orihime 100% took out Yhwach and herself at the end there. However, since Uryu sent the Almighty back to Yhwach from Jugram, I think he’s going to use the full power of the Almighty to bring both him and Orihime back as the future in which Yhwach wins Orihime might still be needed. But this would also highlight just how broken Yhwach is and therefore show why they need the Still Silver to stop his powers before taking him out permanently. Could also be as simple as the very last few seconds was just a vision of the future Yhwach saw once he got the full almighty back. Either way these last 5 episodes are going to be incredible. We are truly in for a treat!

So even if this will be avoided by Yhwach after now getting the Almighty back, the difference still stays - It was not Ichigo bankai that forced him to alter the events. It was Orihime. One might now ask - will we see more "potential outcomes"? What if every single one turns out to be a losing one for Yhwach? Idk, they could do so much cool stuff from now on. Insane episode. I love Bleach.

I don't play brave souls like I used to but I just got on today and in the special move animation of Aizen's new unit he is using a sword that looks EXACTLY like the blade Ichigo gains in his new bankai form. Not sure what the connection is, if any at all, but I'm assuming it's not a total coincidence. Even it's just a nod to the new content, pretty cool. I still think Ichigo and Aizen are more connected than we know, and with today's episode I wouldn't rule out the possibility of seeing his bankai.

I don't think so as that would make it feel so unsatisfying as a viewer. Basically means episode 5 means nothing and Orihime's powerup/moment meant absolutely nothing. The whole "it's just a dream" or "it's just a vision" trope is something that i don't think Kubo will go to imo. I think more likely what's gonna happen is that the Almighty is going to back to Yhwach since it left Haschwalt (we kinda already see that happening before Orihime reject him) He'll alter the future to have it so that he lives, which also probably brings back Orihime since only way he lives is to unreject himself which unreject Orihime. This way Orihime's powerup moment doesn't feel like it didn't happen, but just the Almighty is just that powerful. Seeing how he almost died, he breaks Ichigo's bankai. That's my theory, but knowing Kubo, at this point, anything can happen.

Not gonna lie, i think they should have made the movie go up to episode 5. That would have fucking broken the damn cinema! I think they could have made significantly more money and that silent pause at the end credits would have left the entire cinema theatre completely stunned. Movie would have broken the internet much like it did today.

This episode was absolutely insane!!!! I expected something fairly crazy with the original title. As a fan who had read the end of bleach what feels like an infinitely distant decade ago this blew all my expectations out of the water!!! Like most, what i wanted for true bankai ichigo was a short flash, just to KNOW after all this time what it did, and IF it actually did anything. Im interested to see how we will return to following the manga, how will the original true bankai come back ( as its in the promo art) the stil silver arrow, the end of uryu vs mr almighty. As for orihime jaw absolutely on the floor!!! Im guessing since Ywach regained the almighty as he was being rejected, once he ressurects it will be starting from before orihime killed them both? A long week ahead but an exciting one for speculation!!!

My prediction is that ichigos bankai is like modular depending what element of his hybrid nature he is most relying on. Felt to me like what we saw was very much a hollow inspired bankai and the violence of the episode kinda reflected that. I wonder if we will see other versions through yuhas almighty

I think it’s still good writing if they do that, because then we actually got to see what his bankai does we actually get to see why he was so scared of that future, and it scales Orihime to the level that she can actually reject Yuha snapping the sword
