Phew, this was another long one. I promise I'll try and rein myself in a bit more in the future! But I loved this episode, so I had a lot to say.

The pacing is still insanely quick, yes, but for some reason it didn't feel quite so bad this time. Maybe that's got something to do with the fact that we're finally meeting The Sternritter, who I've been excited to see for years!

In this detailed spoiler review, we go in-depth into the episode, looking at it in comparison with the anime, and seeing what they added and changed overall.

Enjoy!

Episode 4 of Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War, Kill the Shadow, was my favourite so far. The first Quincy invasion takes a dramatic turn for the worse when the Captains have their Bankai stolen by the Sternritter, while Ichigo is trapped by Quilge!
