After a week-long break, Bleach is back! This time, Yhwach has ascended to the Royal Palace and left a real mess in his wake - the first battle up is Mayuri vs Giselle, and her zombie army!

I thought this was a pretty good episode overall! There were a few cuts, some comedic scenes are gone again, but on the whole it turned out fairly well - but what did you think? Let me know!

Enjoy.

Did you find it this episode a bit awkward in terms of the humour? For the most part, they have cut a lot of the humour out in the previous episodes but left a lot of the humour from the manga in this episode. The tone shift seems fairly noticeable compared to the rest of the TYBW arc episodes.

Could the woman Akon was talking about be Riruka? I forget the timeline on her whereabouts at this time. Knew Komamura would get a reaction lol. Maybe we get that conversation about her dress on the way up? I agree it would be a shame to miss it.

From what I've read, I *think* the original japanese did have Yumichika comment on her smell and Viz just changed it
