It would be great if you revisit TTN and Dear Name at MMA and know how you perception changed after getting to know IU better. That performance was one of if not the greatest performance in MMA history.

So interesting to hear how your perception of her singing this song changed over time. I think she does a lot of things which don't have obvious appeal, but with closer listening (or viewing in the case of acting) the magic of what she's doing emerges.

Torsie, if you were a man I bet you will be obsessed with this song. As a man, It really provoked his foftness and deep solid beloved sense from it. The straight, simple (the straight tone instead of vibrato)of vocal and lyrics can make a lion become a sheep in front of this song. It’s beyond the music tech itself. And for some reason , from point of view of a foreigner, the choice and arrangement of lyrics by IU always makes korean sound more beautiful and poetic than others .

If you remember, that is what IU's team thought about this song at first when they are trying to decide if it should be early released (quoted in Joy of Conversation). That it might sound too simple and boring. But, turns out to be fan favorite

Thank you!! Re: other lives, the arrangements they did for TTN + Palette at the Gaon Awards that year have always struck me as particularly beautiful!! TTN was way more piano centric than ‘normal’ and palette, more guitar centric
