ABC

About the mvs, I dont remember her talking specifically about who decides about concepts but I'm assuming it's a mix of what you said. Ideas from her plus ideas from her team and maybe the director. She did mention before that she had an idea about the love poem music video but she didnt push through with it since she feels like what she plans vs the finished product will be different. Here is what she said about it. https://twitter.com/IUteamstarcandy/status/1193198911692738560?s=20

Chiara

I'm certain that she is the mind behind "Celebrity", but not sure about "Blueming". I think I agree with ABC's comment: all her contents are a mix between her ideas and the ideas of her collaborators 😉

Torsie, I’m sure you’ve seen a few people suggested you to watch the latest IUTV, which included two IUs (EDAM assistant manager Lee Jidong and the singer/actress Lee Jieun) fighting haha. I would suggest you to watch several older IUTVs that have Lee Jidong in it first, because there’s a whole plot of how she first joined EDAM as a newbie to recently being promoted to assistant manager. I feel like if you know the history of Lee Jidong, you will get those jokes better. A little information about Lee Jidong : she’s known as spoiler queen in UAENA fandom because she often spoiled IU’s comeback details and other important stuff. Rumour has it that she has connections with the CEO of EDAM, so even IU can’t fire her haha. Here are the videos mentioned (It will be good if you watch it in order. Some of them are from Lilac era): 1. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DUfXCgjAobQ (Lee Jidong's ASMR) 2. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DUzIyzoNt3Q (Lilac Era, album jacket concept meeting) 3. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QhQZ8xl268c (Lilac Era, Lee Jidong spoiling the songs on the album) 4. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZINbc0pLh8g (Lilac Era, Lilac MV concept meeting) 5. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3ydOp_TbqcA (Lee Jidong ticketing for IU’s Golden Hour concert) 6. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zn8zDbQGWK4 (Lee Jidong vs Lee Jieun)

There's once an interview of a MV director and he said that before the filming, IU had two meetings with him and she stated clearly what the concept for the MV was and what she wanted. So he had no problem during filming.

Since you're already reacting to the love poem album, I hope you can also react to IU's Love Poem Concert (Full version) here on patreon. I have a copy with english subs but I don't know how and where to upload it to be able to share it with you. I don't know if you can find the full version on other websites.

I'd love to do that - we've all wanted to watch a concert together for a while, I'll make it happen! I think I have a link, but if I can't find it again - I'll send you a message and we'll figure it out 😊💖
