I remember being a little "surprised/confused" while watching it for the first time, but when it ended, I needed to rewatch it immediately, because it was all so good: the photography, the sound, the acting... 🤩 It is like every second is so full of "events", symbols, meaning. Nothing seems left to chance. I really love this kind of art 😊. Thanks for your comments about it ❤️

There’s this theory when Persona got released that IU and Doona’s characters had romantic relations. IU’s angry not because she’s against her dad having a relationship, but because she wanted to keep Doona for herself. The blood signifies the loss of IU’s characters’s innocence, and the more intense slowmo shots with their (sexually-charged) screams showcases the intimacy they’ve had before. It was a popular theory on Twitter before! Just wanted to share :) Hehe

I'm completely onboard with this theory! All roads lead to this being true. Especially the shot of Doona taking the ball from under her shorts - I mean, come on. Why else?! Oh Lord, you've done it to me - I could talk about this forever... again. hahaha! Argh, so gooood!!!!
