Ok this video WAS going to be released next weekend but i couldn’t wait to drop it. I think it’s pretty good and for Laila’s first shoot i think she did an amazing job. This video makes me really excited for future projects with her.

Laila arrives at Lyrics for a fun night out. Lyric confesses to Laila that a few years ago her brother was in a shrinking accident and she keeps him in a shoe box. Laila is stunned when she see the tiny man in the box and is overtaken by fascination. When Lyric goes to get the two of them a drink Laila sneaks over to the box and places Lyrics brother on the floor. She’s curious to see how well he’ll survive on his own, but her real motives are revealed in her thoughts.

Wouldn’t be a video without my asinine critique lol. Amazing concept. Love the unaware/aware play. Where I feel like it missed the mark was lyric randomly standing at the bookcase and just randomly looking around with little to no conversation with Laila (obviously she gets a pass on her first real one because she still did amazing). The internal dialogue was next level. Really enjoyed that switch up. Would have liked something like dancing as they pregame. With Laila trying to direct lyric to the area where her brother is in hopes of getting jumped on and grinded into the floor. Or at the end after only misses, Laila pretends he’s a bug and frantically telling lyric to kill it who does without a second thought not knowing it was him. Lastly. Maybe do this same concept but with food. Chips and dip would be cool. Again. Loved it overall. I look forward to more of them.
