Scarlett walks into the room to look for a book to read. She picks one and walks around the room a bit. Unaware of the tiny inhabitants living in her rug. Eventually she sits down to read for a bit. Never seeing the tiny guy.

Lovely as always from these “unaware in a rug” clips. But this one didn’t click for me, somehow. Maybe it’s because of the cliffhanger ending of Scarlett just relaxing after reading and not walking away off-frame. Maybe it’s because there weren’t any nightmarish booms and other sound effects from Scarlett walking, including from high heels or trainers in the past. Still overall especially her toes gripping those dirty carpet fibers with our shrunken person pleading for help, great clip to illustrate Scarlett as your college or other roommate just getting up from bed and catching up on a good book all barefoot, while you try to avoid getting smashed by her ginormous size 8s and being a stain on her calloused, dirty soles. 😘

Part of me thinks WUF director IS planning on this, with the group of Lyric, Eliza, and/or Laila or any of the new actors (Zara or Monica) being shrunk on a rug and all actresses green-screening across the jungle of shagged dirt and grime, as Scarlett (and maybe Lyra as well) walk innocently and crush everything beneath her gigantic shoes and feet with all the terrifying booms and sounds from her stepping every gnat in her path without any care.
