I still find it funny to think how it is for the people with no context for the OP, seeing people freak out over a spiral staircase or Subaru simply walking up some steps lol. It'd be like seeing a 1/3 of the community losing it over the main character opening a jar of pickles.

A controversial cut content because this is a fan favorite scene When Beatrice was crying and begging Subaru not to die, Subaru had an internal monologue about how beautiful Beatrice is, but seeing her crying pained him. So, unable to move his body anymore, Subaru used Invisible Providence to wipe away Beatrice's tears before seeing her get sniped and turns into light particles It is a shame, but I love how the anime portrayed their helplessness by making it so swift and how the camera doesn't even move

As far as "Ram's regulation" goes, I know it was like 10 years ago, but you saw Roswaal do that back early in S1. Because she's missing her horn, she can't regulate her own mana anymore and must rely on others to give her mana infusions. She principally relies on Roswaal for this, but since Roswaal won't be going with them, Emilia and Beatrice will have to handle it on the trip.

I don't think Beako has pain receptors (she didn't seem to react at all when Elsa gutted her ass in S2, while she was slowly disintegrating into mana particles), so the sand is probably doing nothing to her

Yeah. Ram's nerfed to shit thanks to the cultists, if she were not, I think the village elder would probably have been right about her being the reincarnation of the Oni God (the only reason they weren't bodied despite being born twins, as is the norm as per Oni customs), given how busted she's already despite missing the horn, let alone w/ the horn (even more busted if she wasn't nerfed by Rem at birth, essentially halving her capacity etc)

Lorewise, if Ram still had her horn she’d be one of the strongest characters in the entire series… as in like Reinhardt and a handful of other characters would be stronger than her (don’t ask me to name them). If she wouldn’t be top 5, she’d definitely be top 10. That’s how much losing her horn nerfed her.

Honestly, people trying to make this a “controversial cut” is why I’ve grown tired of certain people in the Re:Zero community whining about how this is a disastrous adaptation because of every small detail being left out, not realizing if they got what they wished for (the inclusion of every small detail) Re:Zero would be the most insufferably slow-moving anime ever adapted. I’ll paraphrase what Echidnut said about it: it sucks that it was left out, but it wasn’t that important of a detail.

The sound effect for the light needle is so satisfying to listen too. Also just brutal damage to everything! I love this opening. It has such a cool sound to it! I don’t think I’ve heard an opening like this before. I like the visuals too. They are very smooth and transition well together with the music.
