Some things are only hinted at...Qianqian saved Qimin and that's the first time he showed interest in any woman. At that point, the nanny (and retainers close to Qimin) are worried because he is out of control and want to 'preserve his bloodline'. So, nanny forces Qianqian and Qimin. Qimin despises the experience: the reason behind it (they're hoping there will be a child so Qimin can be replaced) and his loss of control (he'sgiven some powerful stuff). There are other hints about Qianqian that we'll see if you catch. As for what she is doing, yes she's trying to escape and will do anything. And he knows she's in being honest (the nightmares comment) but she also says and does things he desperately wants to believe in.

I guessed Qi Min's lung was damaged because of the fire 17 years ago, that's why he always coughs. The Nanny said that they can be saved if Qian Qian started acting like the madam of the house, so they can trick Qi Min to think that they don't want to escape anymore. But Qian Qian was smart, so she didn't fully lie to Qi Min. She still showed her hatred toward him and that guy liked that kind of affection, I guess. I don't know if you noticed, but most male characters in this drama were being saved by the girls. Chang Yu saved Xie Zheng, the female bandit saved Sui Yuan Qing, and Qian Qian saved Qi Min. And they were all obsessed with their women though in different ways. P.s: Zhang Ling He's height is 190 cm, Tian Xi Wei 168.5 cm. He was around 70-75 kg in that time, she was around 40-something. The problem when she carried him was more about his very long legs.

Hostility between Qian and Qi Min is supposed to be noticeable because she hates his guts. Qian will do anything to ensure her and her son's safety, including smexy times with the man she hates. Next episode is EPIC!!! I totally understand about missing this series when you haven't watched it for a few days. I've watched it completely about 5 times and am also watching along with some reactors as well as seeing short clips and bts stuff online. I will probably watch it again before I move into my new house.

It is a traditional Chinese superstition that a sudden, unexplained sneeze means someone is thinking of you or talking about you.

It is not explained in the show but in the novel the show is based on, towards the end of the story, she confesses to Changyu that she is from the future, noting that if she started walking back home, it would take her thousands of years. It is not a major plot point. It just explains why she knew CPR, modern business management methods and what causes cavities.

Seems like a pointless plot line. Transmigration stories are all the rage, if the author wanted to commit to it she'd have it as the main plotline. Otherwise, its just an inconsistent anomaly in the story that only appeals to popularity but doesn't belong. The whole story could have been more consistent without it.
