man u gotta drop the shows u want to drop. i don’t think it’s great to force yourself to watch stuff you don’t enjoy. some shows arent terrible but they aren’t good for reacting to. i also do believe that more people enjoy seeing you watch shows YOU enjoy rather than seeing you watch shows you don’t care for.

and honestly i am surprised you watched s2 of this. like i guess i’m not because it’s a popular show but i remember you seeming very uninterested in it with some comments you made in another series’ reaction. honestly just from the glimpses i’ve seen, this season seems very repetitive of its first season, and very slow with honestly bland characters.

honestly i lost all the pleasure of watching this show and im pretty sure nobody will get mad if you decide to drop it it's always repeating the same thing and the entire season 2 could have been a 1h special episode i feel like

i think it's even worse then s1 somehow. i thought getting together at the end of s1 made it worth watching s2, but now i regret it lol. their relationship is kinda annoying, and nothing is happening.

My impression is the cafe owner is a romance writer and uses her staff as inspiration for her work . I understand feeling like this show could be a bit much and I have seen a few drop this because this could be a bit much. Plus this happens alit with romance anime once the couple gets together. Plus this reminds of those couple who are just way too much when together, so if you know a couple like that in real life, it can turn you off on this show.

You are not alone in thinking that S2 of the show is lacking something. Here is the week by week score breakdown from MyAnimeList as of today: Week 01 - 8.18 Week 02 - 8.07 Week 03 - 8.02 Week 04 - 7.90 Week 05 - 7.82 Week 06 - 7.74 Week 07 - 7.67 Week 08 - 7.60 Week 09 - 7.52 Week 10 - 7.44 The score has been dropping week after week.

Joe, I share your sentiment with this show. Angel next door is neither bad or mediocre. For the core fans, it certainly should satisfy. However, I found S2 to be rather milquetoast and underwhelming. From my viewpoint, the show keeps edging the audience with the intimate interactions, but it doesn't go anywhere substantially. The side characters are either meaningful or forgotten. That one silver haired classmate, what was their purpose? What should've been major development in terms of Mahiru and Amane's intimate relationship, ended up being a repetitive quagmire. It's remarkable how I found S1 to be more captivating than S2 (given the fact that S2 had more intimate moments, while S1 had a hug and a wet dream). That being said, I'll see the anime to the end, like the completist I am.
