Man this show is so peak. The thing that really sets this show apart from others is that it's not afraid to throw the characters flaws in your face. Most other shows are afraid to make you dislike the major characters that aren't meant to be hate-able villains. Seeing characters overcome their flaws and stand up from their lowest moments makes their journey all the more impactful.

The moment Subaru crashed out on Foxidna and Betty shows why Betty is best girl. She never doubted Subaru in any of the loops nor she ever hurt him in any of them. Betty is always there for Subaru and is always willing to sacrifice herself for Subaru

she wouldn't doubt Subaru because their souls are connected via contract. as long as that contract exists... she wouldn't have any doubt. which to me makes Emilia's faith in Subaru even more impressive, because that's based on nothing more than the fact that she loves him. to her Subaru's still Subaru, with or without memories.

A lot of people compare this episode to Rem lifting up a despairing Subaru with the heart-felt speech in S1E18, and I won't argue with them, because I do agree with them. But to me I'll always go to S2E15 first, because that was Subaru lifting up a despairing Emilia in the graveyard. The differnece being in that episode Subaru gave Emilia what she needed in that moment - harsh, tough love - something she had never been given before - because she was failing her responsibilities. Opposed to here, where Emilia gave a despairing Subaru what he needed most - unquestioning, unconditional love, because in that moment he needed someone to be absolutely gentle with his quickly shattering self. And that's what makes the love Subaru and Emilia have for one another so special - they're quick to know what each other needs and just as quick to make sure they get it.

What a fantastic adaptation. I do agree with you on the Shaula, the show did give a lot of clues but it is still quite a jump to get to the truth. They did a similar thing with Anastasia and Foxidona. In S3 you can see her pet her scarf a couple times but i would never have thought it was alive.

Man I f*cking cried when he realized he just head over heels for Emilia in a cringe way and thats what keeps him going despite all the sufferings and takes me back to the 1st episode, if he didnt met Emilia first and falls for her, I don't think he'll be a good person that tries to protects her and everyone.

Yes, Beako will know, since Contracts are SOUL BOUND. Like remember that bet Subaru did w/ Roswaal in S2? He would have been cooked because RBD wouldn't do shit to that, since it's attached to Subaru's Soul if he had lost the bet, just like it is on Roswaal's Soul now, and thus even if he swaps bodies in the future, it will move to the next host vessel alongside his own Soul.

well i just binged episodes 8-11. …that was a mistake, i would’ve preferred waiting a week for each episode then cuz THIS WAS BRUTAL! i felt nauseous at one point in episode… 9 or 10. …but that just goes to show that the animators know what they’re doing with this series and they are NAILING IT!!!!
