The "Mascarade" Dopants are the Shocker Footsoldiers of this season. Their masks are designed like the shirts the Shocker wore.

Side note: You're probably going to love the Fuuto P.I. anime. It was animated by the same studio as Uma Musume Pretty Derby Season 2 and forward. In Fuuto PI, they'll be a handful of Pretty Derby references.

The explanation for the dopant users being so over-the-top after using, is because when they mainline inject their Gaia memories to their skin, it injects them with drugs as well. Implied to be heroin. Essentially representing how drugs can change people. The Henshin belts filter out the drugs so people with belts get the superpowers without the drugs, addiction, and side effects.

(...cough, cough. You probably should have gone with more of a more serious season like Ex Aid or Zeztz for less camp. A lot of people recommend W for nostalgia or love for detective manga. Gavv actually almost has the exact same story as W, but is more serious, dark, and serialized as opposed to episodic. Gavv's drug epidemic is crack and there's human trafficking)

You should try Shogi, because most of us in America are not necessarily good at it. (It's Japanese Chess, that runs at the pace of Checkers, with pieces that Level-up. You also capture pieces that you airdrop on opponents). If you ever get into the Yakuza games, you can easily get into Shogi and Mahjong.

Cool little fun fact, the actor playing Kenji/Arms Dopant, Koichiro Nishi, had already played a prominent role in a different Toku series. He was Aba Red in Bakuryuu Sentai Abaranger.

Joker memory contains the memory of trump card. It pushes the physical abilities of the human to the limit. Metal memory has the memory of a warrior, and provides the Metal shaft.
