That's kinda what I'm getting from the drawings... a nuclear fallout would temporarily make the world dark from all the dust that would get yeeted into the air. I presume half-moon refers to the sky island mfs & Shandians, since I recall years ago when I saw on reddit all the unadapted to anime cover stories, that Enel did get to the moon, and it's revealed that the Sky Island people & Shandians descended from the moon in stages (with we can presume that Lunarians were the fr fr moon inhabitants, hence the distinction between half and full, and the decreasing wing sizes the closer to the ground they get) after they eventually ran out of 100% of resources on the moon, leaving only their automaton constructs on the moon as they left (although maybe they did have those things post-descent too, but they probably got fried over the "worlds" depicted in the 3 chapters, so none survive to current day). I personally want to believe that OP world is just some terraformed colony world shithole, and the inhabitants originally came from somewhere else, but because of fucky wucky shit, they got technologically BTFO'd over time. It would explain why OP tech fields are all pulled out the ass, advances wise. You have high tech af BS magic-science, yet you have low af maybe renaissance level of tech overall... Hopefully Oda will go in this direction, because I've always been a sucker for the pseudo-magic subgenre of sci-fi overall in tons of other franchises etc. 😭

I've had this theory well an idea about Franky having thousand sunny being pluton scaled down BUT not compromising the damage output, we have seen examples with the battle Frankie's. We have seen Franky remove the paddles on the sunny to be replaced with that rabbit corkscrewbhe managed to downsize a way to move the sunny without compromising speed. (Episode 1088 or 1089) However I think the owl will play a role to increase the size of the sunny to match physical size if pluton assuming he built sunny to 1:x scale

Shanks being a Celestial Dragon wasn't exactly something I had on my BINGO card... and yet, considering everything else that has happened in this series up to this point (namely, Doffy, which will greatly temper the shock of anyone else being a Celestial Dragon, like, ever... ), I'm not exactly stunned by it, either.

If you want to watch a good video that does a breakdown of the mural, the YouTuber Tekking101 has one titled “The Entire Mural” It doesn’t have any spoilers for future chapters cause he made it right after this chapter dropped so it’s a lot of speculation of what each part of the mural represents but he does talk about some older theories & stuff

31:10 tbf they think it's a children's drawing because as far as they know, their history has been nothing but violence and wars with other people and not a history where they got along with others, so seeing a drawing of everyone actually getting together sounds like children wishing for everybody to get along
