You can see how Islam got ruined by bozos between the end of the Golden Age of Islam and modern day. Modern day Islam is somehow WORSE than what it was back in the Golden Age times, when you'd think religions would become mellower & mellower over time, not the inverse... Yes the one at the front is driving it, the job is called "carriage driver" for a reason...

Naoko Yamada is the GOAT, and so far this show slaps as expected.

yeah I think that the standard US history and government classes are designed to only teach Western liberal versions of ideas and history. I would say a lot of Honors or AP history classes probably taught some Easter and Oriental history since those teachers are allowed more freedom in how they teach those courses. also calling her a Witch would make sense if she is going to use her education in mathematics and astrology to take advantage of the Mongolians. That is a classic trope pulled from history about uneducated populations calling aspects of science they don't understand magic.

9:20 - Actually, seeking knowledge has always been a huge part of Islam—for both men and women. The Prophet Muhammad encouraged everyone to learn, and many Muslim women became respected scholars, teachers, and narrators of knowledge. His daughter, Fatimah, is one well-known example of a highly respected and educated woman. A cool historical fact is that the world's oldest and first continuously operating university was founded by a Muslim woman, Fatima al-Fihri, over 1,000 years ago🤍🤍 .. So if you see some people today trying to prevent women from getting an education and claiming it's "Islamic," that's a cultural issue, not something the religion itself teaches.

My history classes in America touched on the whole world with detail. That being said, some of them were World History classes, so they would go into a lot more depth about the world than a standard history class. I feel like my education on world history was well done.

It looks like one of my editors accidently did for ep. 2. Included it in ep 3.
