Overall, pretty good episode to reel us back into the folds of the Nanboku-cho period, besides The World Is Dancing. Although, certainly not a recap. Perhaps a better description would be "exposition". Very much needed once the next arc rolls around. The new OP and ED were well-done. Although KAMAKURA STYLE will always be among the best. I do love how they did the second ED, as if it was for a romance anime. It gives me an early to mid Heisei era vibe. As for the Takauji demon scene, it reminds me a lot of how Cloverworks did some of the gag scenes in Bocchi The Rock. Mixture of different visual styles and mediums.
