You might want to check out the English Dub for this episode, when it‘s out. I watched a preview of it and I would say they did a good job with the voice. (Though I say that as a German with English as my second language) But honestly the last Episode of Grand Blue was way worse for me. xD

i mean... her entire character is loving America so much that she completely rejected her Japanese heritage. most of her comedy is a result of failing to be be American. you could see her as a way of ironically mocking Americans who idolize Japan. In the same way some Americans love Japan more than most Japanese people, she definitely loves America more than most Americans

Feel like Naddys Character might be making fun of Americans who obsess over Japanese culture and is basically "This is what it looks like to us, how do you like it?" Lol.

Naddy is what is known as an “Ameriboo” which is slang for a foreigner is obsessed with American culture.

I don't know how to feel that I got her gimmick as soon as Nadia started speaking. I am not even American but could sniff out the westaboo in her. I love her.

Honestly, it feels more like they are making fun of the fact that in general, foreign perception of a country has a ton of dumb stereo types that are rarely true. Her character is that she's japanese but obssessed with what America looks like from the outside. But obviously the way she is behaving is not american at all... They even are intentionally making her accent terrible - which feels like a meta joke calling out all of the numerous anime out there that have an "american" or "english" character that literally can't speak english worth a damn
