I have always found this series infuriating, because let's be honest - the kingdom deserves to be destroyed by its enemies, and many times over. This episode is the epitome of it. Despite being the person that saved everyone on the school trip last season, nobody's forgiven him for all the money they lost on bets when Leon made fools of the prince and his friends - they've just kept it inside... until Leon's been set up; now it's time to let it loose on him again. (and I really wish I could talk about why Fanoss is even worse, but I'm sure you've seen enough to have some guesses). Despite being a scumbag, I really don't blame Leon for wanting to disappear into the countryside, whether Angie and Livia are with him or not. But the infuriating storyline is what makes the payoff so worth it - I would not have stuck with this series if the payoff wasn't that good.
