J Man

The tone and OST here reminds me a bit of Fooly Cooly

Ah, I didn't know that other ppl were calling it FLCL too! You should definitely watch it! Only six episodes. Pure Gainax/Studio Trigger.

J Man

"Abstract" is the word you're looking for.

Very interesting first episode. I have no clue what the hell is going on. Very Gainax coded. What has me intrigued is the art style and sound direction.

Im very happy to see more Chinese media being accepted in the US. I remember how a few years ago how hard it was to get people into Link Click because it was "too Chinese" for them. To Be Hero X helped get more people into Chinese media with the Japanese dub.

Subtitles from Bilibili about the news, "Hongpai Port is improving its environment to support small businesses while preserving the town's unique warmth and tranquility. Life continues here in its simplest form. And now, a breaking new update. The missing transport aircraft X3333 reported lost this morning has had its wing wreckage recovered. Spherical sharp surface s hollowed out the aircraft's main body, while one of its wings crashed into an illegal structure. The circumstances match multiple previous incidents. Due to safety concerns, the structure has been sealed off. Officials emphasized that this decision was made out of an abundance of caution for public safety. Proper arrangements have also been made for the small number of nearby residents affected. According to investigations, hollows have so far appeared only in this town. Many residents have already reported this incidents. Fortunately, no casualties have been reported so far. Why hollows appear remains a mystery. The townspeople are growing increasingly uneasy, and speculation continues to spread. At present, GAO (Great Absurdity Organization) has moved onto the scene. Using specialized equipment, they are mapping, sampling, and analyzing these hollows. The investigation has entered a critical stage. A full investigative report and officials conclusions are expected in the coming days. Next, we turn to a statement from the GAO's spokesperson."

Ohh.. the kid said he was born in 2013. Is the “fake apocalypse” in reference to the Mayan calendar in 2012?
