I love this show so much, even slice of life episodes are briliant. I am waiting for eris to comeback. I am expecting that action and eris will show at the end of course 1 :D

The reason they were representing was because they were the only special students graduating I’m pretty sure. So they were in a separate “category” from the rest. If I remember correctly that’s the reason

I am kind of worried, if Perigius will really be okay. I mean his underling tried to kill us right before the mana desaster because he thought we were responsible. Also I feel like Nanahoshis condition might be because she is from our world and has no natural mana capacity while every living being, even dead ones in Mushoku Tenseis world do have mana. And... wasn't the animation quality pretty low? Large parts of the beast girl fight offscreened, many shots from afar or still frames or reused images, the opening was also a bit underwhealming. Not really bad, but to a point where I wonder if there is something off with the production.

It's something they left out from the novels - nearly every class representative is of social status, as a way of "sucking up" to those of high social status in every nation. Pursenna and Linia are princesses of the Doldia tribes, so being of highest social status in their graduating class, they were automatically named class reps. However, at least for Pursenna, it's not wholly unwarranted - she was at least a decent student who took her studies seriously, understanding she would one day have responsibilities in her tribe. I think the flower is of this world and she's simply using the plastic bottle as a vase - the watermelon was the first "living thing" they've summoned, after all. And I've come to realize Nanahoshi joyfully celebrating her successes is one of my favorite things in this series - because she has the cutest "yatta!". Now if she could ever get over this cold...

I'm not going to spoil what it was about, but when you were cooking about who could be the "summoning authority" you went so hard you burned the house down and yet somehow still struck gold.

I mean Joe, do you have any idea how much fucking spatio-temporal distance there is between Earth & the Six-Faced World? That's where most of the mana reqs go to, bridging the spatio-temporal co-ordinates, the other narrowing parameters barely take much mana besides that. The more mass the summon target has, the more mana you need to compensate for the mass being transferred across space & time. The mana disaster? Nanahoshi got transported from Earth to here, causing an equal amount of matter (whole of Fittoa region) to be displaced from the rubberbanding ripple effect caused by new matter being beamed from somewhere else, scaling based on Nanahoshi's mass & the energy spent to transport her across such a distance. Now granted, the side-effects likely wouldn't have been that inefficient, if the transfer had had a magic circle like we see here, instead of happening without a magic circle to cut costs & other parameters like seen here.
