K-PopHunter

This week were great episodes of Re:Zero, Tanya the Evil, Tensura & Mushoku Tensei!!

OfficiallyGames

Laplace was sealed not killed, I think you missed that when they said it

Ragon

S1 lore : Perigius + Familiars + 3-4 other heroes + Ruijerd did beat and seal Laplace. So you were right about that. Can't remember what else has been said and not said at this point so that's all i'll write.

Moody

My first thought when he said “your mana recalls Laplace” was Rudy using chantless magic & that’s why Rudy & Sylphie were the only ones glowing since they’re the only ones that use chantless🤷🏻‍♂️

jdoggivjc

The memes on Sylphie murdering Nanahoshi are going wild.

I wanted to talk about Rudeus and Sylphie and the connection to Laplace that Perugius was identifying... but I realized I'd be stumbling over the line of spoiler territory.

Krimsonwulf

I'm pretty sure, it's been awhile so I'm not 100%, but I believe it's not any specific mana that is causing Nanahoshi to be sick just that she is being infused with mana. She has no native mana as she isn't from this world and the affects of it could be causing damage to her organs. She says when they first meet that all things have mana even dead things. In so even the food she eats is partially infused with mana which is a foreign entity to her body that it has no means of dealing with.

Some skipped details!!! While being teleported to the floating fortress, Rudeus did notice that the space they were in looked eerily similar to the place where he sees the Man-God, though this time he was in his new body and not in his old body. When going through the front gate of the fortress, white particles began floating off of Rudy and Sylphie, Sylvaril then tells them there are many like them across the world and asks them both if they have ever heard of the Man-God. Rudy panics internally for obvious reasons but just barely manages to keep a straight face (I love the little detail of his eye just barely twitching as he freaks out on the inside). Perugius had heard of Rudeus before funnily enough, outside of the events before the teleportation incident as the Mage that injured Dragon God Orsted. This is what prompts him to discourage any hostility on Rudy's part. A lot adapted here and that means a lot was skipped or glossed over but they covered all the important bits and it was a great episode! Love Perugius, they did a great job with him so far. He is prejudiced but he has a history with demons and he is very old so it makes sense he still holds those old grudges. That was how most of the world viewed demons at the end of the Laplace war so he's kind of like a man out of time.

Paul

You focused too much on Rudy glowing before the Familiar asked Him and Sylphy about the Man-God. If you go look again Sylphy was also glowing. So whatever she saw was showing up for both Rudy and Sylphy.

Very interesting about the queston about Hitogami ("Mangod"). Especially the second question; If the name makes them angry or furious - that is what happened with the dragongod. But nobody ever said Siplhie has Laplace-like-mana. I really like the small touch that they didn't translate the Japanese table manners. And I still think Nanahoshi has some kind of mana sickness or something. unlike every living being in this world, she has no mana flow. So maybe her body can't handle mana. That may also be why magic treatment could make it worse...

Skebaba

Joe having audacity to call Perugius a racist, yet bro literally thinks "all Dragon ppl look the same" 😭 We only know 1 trait of Laplace, which is that he had green hair. I can't recall any other traits being stated about him, other than his disgusting mana pool, but that's not rly a visible trait IMO. Damn Elinalise got the yeet from a whole village of bitches after fucking all their men 😭😭

Spellmonger Jake

Not sure why, but this video isnt locked to paying members. Just a heads up.

David

I think for Rudeus is not a spoiler, since Badigadi already did the connection last season, saying that Rudeus has an enormous pool of mana just like Laplace, but for Sylphie it can be seen as a spoiler yes, since we still don’t know a lot about Laplace’s story

jdoggivjc

Yeah, it has nothing to do with Rudeus - in fact, you can go back further than Badigadi: Kishirika first identifies his mana as “disgusting” in a direct reference to Laplace back in S1 (although I forget whether she actually dropped the name or not, but she was clearly referencing him). Sylphie’s connection to it is the real spoiler here.

FreshestAnime

🤦‍♂️ thanks, I fixed it now. I didnt have Diana to help me that day 😑
